Description

The famous Sculptor galaxy. What surprised me the most was the amount of Ha, especially near the center third so I included it as a stand alone image. This may be because it's a starburst galaxy and as Wikipedia says, a dwarf galaxy collided with it "recently", 200m years ago. Also, the outer areas of the galaxy had lots of blue and when looking at other's images, it seems that most don't bring that out maybe because it's low for NA observers and blue is scattered? The mono Lum channel is included as well as the final image, a LRGB with Ha layered in as the final step. L 15x300s, RGB 5x300s 2x2bin, 7x900s.
